About Us

The Success Institute is a non-profit organization seeking to enrich the lives of young adults, ages 18-24, in San Bernardino County.

Our mission is to provide at-risk and disadvantaged young adults, practical and life skills and education.

Judy Takano is the President and owner of the Career Institute With over 30 years of leadership experience, she has overseen millions of dollars in employment-related contracts. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and combines organizational development and financial expertise with a passion for helping others achieve their goals.

Judy loves to travel,  is a constant learner, and loves to bless people with resources and opportunities.

Becky’s background is software and website design, development, and management. She has a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems with minors in both Computer Science and Business Administration from Utah State University. She was employed for 14 years at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, designing, developing, and managing Family History systems. She is currently a Corporate Trainer at Salt Lake Community College teaching technology classes. Becky loves to travel, camp, and go to hockey games!

Bonnie Lange is an insurance professional with more than 30 years of experience helping small employers develop customized business solutions. She holds a degree in Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino. Driven by a desire to serve others and be part of meaningful, positive solutions, Bonnie currently serves as Treasurer for the Success Institute and Skituations, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to children’s ministry.  
Outside of her professional and nonprofit work, Bonnie enjoys traveling, photography, baking, and spending quality time with her husband, Benny, their grown children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

Cristine Holdaway has a background in accounting. She has a degree in Accounting and a Minor in Business from Brigham Young University. She has provided accounting services for the Career Institute and several other Inland Empire clients for the last 32 years. She also has been involved in church auxiliary organizations and loves working with young people. She has raised 5 children with her husband of 46 years and they enjoy playing with their 11 grandchildren. She also loves to read, cook, and exercise.

Teresa Taylor is the Fundraising Coordinator for Success Institute. She skillfully oversees the organization and provides amazing resources to aid in the work everyone does. Teresa is gifted at creating partnerships to braid the funding and organizational strength that make our programs possible. Managing an organization that provides so much support to others requires an ability to keep people laughing and the atmosphere upbeat; this is another of Teresa's gifts. She is the director of strong emotional health and uses her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Brigham Young University to empower others to be their best. It is her passion to make a difference by sourcing funds for the Success Institute to be of significance in the lives of others.
